CARPOS® IN THE MAKING

The shape and the texture of the olive tree trunk were the inspiration for the organic shape of the bottle. Nature in its purest depiction. We partnered with one of the most skilled Greek ceramists and consigned our vision to him. After a number of prototypes and iterations, the design team kept the final clay bottle in their hands. Clay has been for years the only way to preserve the extra virgin olive oil land has to offer.

A limited number of handmade bottles are produced patiently and gently every year. The bottles are baked in high temperatures with precision and special care. The ergonomic shape of the bottle is such that allows people of all ages to hold it and enjoy our finest extra virgin olive oil. Each bottle is sent into its own sustainable numbered case. GEOLOGY, SOIL & INCLINE

750 olive oil trees in the mountains of Rhodope in Greece are meticulously preserved throughout the year.

CLIMATE

This diagram presents the weather conditions and the temperature instabilities in the greater area of Rhodope, Greece throughout the year. Thus, our customers can be informed about the trees’ condition and eventually about the olive oil’s CARPOS® quality.

CARPOS® OLIVE CULTIVAR

Halkidiki

It is one of the most well-known olive selections in northern Greece and it is usually green. The big size and the strong flavor make it special. It can be used as marinade with lemon, as olive oil as well as stuffed. Halkidiki olives are exquisite and can offer strong and mild salty flavor in every meal.

Temperature

Cold pressure in 25.5°. This improves and strengthens the tasteful result of CARPOS® olive oil.
